DVSS we take great pride in being able to bring decades of experience in Information Engineering to all industry sectors looking to take full advantage of implementing the latest and most relevant technologies. The pace of technological development in this field is dizzying and making sense of it all without a high level STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) academic background can be extremely daunting. If we are not able to understand new technologies, we are not able to take advantage of them to maintain a competitive business. DVSS offers a remedy to this dichotomy in the form of targeted training courses on a variety of subjects, both new and legacy, to help managerial, commercial, operational and creative staff acquire a solid understanding of relevant technologies that will enhance their productivity and benefit their business.

Demystifying the seemingly unsurmountable mysteries behind both legacy and modern technologies at a level appropriate to the audience and in everyday language is at the heart of DVSS education and training. To support our training courses we offer a free series of technology guides under the banner of ‘From Jelly Head to Genius’ which allow the reader to learn at their own pace and to their desired depth of understanding. The guides also include self-assessment tests to boost the reader’s confidence that they have fully understood the subject matter.

Courses currently available are listed below and if you are new to imaging technology we recommend the ‘Unlocking the Secrets of Digital Images’ as the foundational course to acquire the fundamental knowledge base on which to build for subsequent specialist areas of imaging. Courses are designed to be delivered in a standard 8 hour working day and while we do not set a limit to class size, we recommend 6 as an upper limit to ensure each trainee benefits to the maximum.
